Elisabeth S. Gay is an educational consultant, teacher, and former legal assistant with experience in publishing. Her many years of nonprofit board experience include leadership roles in volunteer recruitment, communications, and committee organization, as well as training in best practices of nonprofit governance. She currently serves as an officer of an educational nonprofit board and oversees communications and grant writing for a homelessness prevention nonprofit. A contributing columnist for a local news outlet, she is also a contract writer and member of multiple national writing organizations.

She hails from South Carolina, is married with three children, and lives in Tennessee. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in German and French and a dual Montessori advanced teaching certification. Her global outlook was shaped by study abroad stints in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, and mission work in Ukraine and Honduras. A lifelong teacher at heart, she formed a consulting firm to assist those helping others to do so more efficiently and effectively. Storytelling is her passion. She believes helping organizations tell their stories will further their missions and make this world a better place.
